football time again!

So, that means my husband is @ practice every afternoon/night from now until sometime in May. (Okay, not EVERY afternoon/night, but most of them!)

So, we've got the grass seed spread, now it has to be watered. Since D is not home to do it in the afternoons this week, Win and I are in charge of getting the grass to GROW!

WorkDay @ the Davis House

Today was a busy day @ our house.

Because a rock must have been chiseled out for our house to be built inside it, (and possibly the four-legged creature that runs up and down the hill!) our grass in the backyard just will not grow. So, today we put grass seed in the backyard and put hay over it, hoping we can get some to grow. Win was a lot of help taking the plastic and the bags and running around the yard with them.
We also spent time in the flower beds in the front of the house. My thumb is definitely not green, and I have no clue about what to plant or how to plant it, but we made an effort!

Lazy Sunday

We slept in this morning and spent the rest of the day being lazy. We got up and watched Seven Pounds, which we rented from the Red Box yesterday.

Dusty has spring break this week, so he had a new project to start today. He bought a new Mega Bloks tank to put together - these things say "age 8" but we'd love to find the 16 year old who could put it together, much less the 8 year old!

I've had a stack of magazines I've wanted to go through for about a year and a half, so today I did! Mom, I told you I was going to look for dining room table decoration ideas - I'm working on it!

We did get dressed this afternoon to go to WalMart for groceries (what's a Sunday without a trip to Walmart?).
