Weekend

Mema, Nana, and Aunt Steph came for a quick visit this weekend. We spent the evening at home Friday night (where it was warm!) and did a little shopping Saturday.

Today was our nursery day, and we only had Avery Claire. So, we just spent a little time playing with new toys (or toys that were new to us). Note to self: make donations to church nursery when we are done with toys!

We spent the afternoon rolling and playing and washing clothes and straightening up. Why do the weekends go by so fast?!

Last One for Awhile...

Today, Avery Claire went for her 2nd flu shot - and her last (scheduled) shot until she goes for her one year check-up! We can pray that this will be her last shot until then! We saw Dr. Allen, who checked her ears and listened to her lungs. He said her ears looked great and her lungs sounded great (she's had a cough and I wanted him to be sure it was just that!).

She only cried for a few seconds after her shot - just until Mommy got the paci in her mouth! She was a little clingy tonight, but other than that, was her usual happy self!

Dinner with Friends

Avery Claire and I met Abby and Mattie tonight for dinner at 5 Guys and a little Target shopping. We didn't get to stay long, but we had so much fun visiting! Abby and I grew up together and have been best friends for as long as I can remember. I love that our girls are so close in age and that we live close enough that we can get together occasionally!

Avery Claire loved Mattie and wanted to touch her! She's never been around a baby younger than her and didn't know what to think! She's used to the kids at daycare grabbing for her!

This is the best shot we got of the four of us. We asked some random man to take our pictures, and even though I'm pretty sure he thought we were nuts, he was very nice to take pics with both cameras.

See if you can get this straight: Abby's birthday is November 12. Mine is January 11. That means she is one day shy of being exactly 2 months older than me.

Avery Claire's birthday is March 25. Mattie's is June 24. That means Avery Claire is one day shy of being exactly 3 months older than Mattie...just a little extra information for ya!

We enjoyed our time with you girls and want to meet you again soon when we can visit longer!
