Happy 3rd Birthday, Avery Claire!!

The birthday girl chose Bojangles for breakfast, so we were up and at 'em early this morning. We love having a birthday during Spring Break!!


After Matt and Sarah went home, we got ready to head to Chuck E. Cheese....because every birthday should involve Chuck E. Cheese, right? And it was 50 degrees outside, so is there a better way to spend the day you turn 3?


Don't let her bored looks fool you. She had a ball!

She's not the only one who had a ball and asked for more tokens {and I'm not talking about that 12 year old boy}.

She was worn out on the way to her choice for dinner.


You guessed it! McDonalds...because if you eat all your supper, you get an ice cream cone!!

Avery Claire Davis, Mommy and Daddy cannot believe you're 3. The past 3 years have absolutely flown by and been the best of our lives because of you. We are so proud of the absolutely perfect mix of sweet, funny, spunky, independent, sensitive, helpful little girl that you are. You could not begin to imagine how much we love you and how very much we look forward to watching you grow up. We thank God He sent you to us.

Last Day as a Two Year Old

Last night, we went to eat with the family crowd that remained.
Today, we spent the morning and lunch with the family crowd that remained. I always forget about the panorama option on my phone!
Everyone left but Matt and Sarah and we spent the rest of the afternoon and night playing store {scanning items with Avery Claire's new cash register}, playing school, and coloring.
 
I may have snuck my girl out of bed late tonight and spent a few minutes snuggling her on her last night as a two year old. I'm so proud of the little girl she's becoming and so thankful for every single day, but there is something so bittersweet about her leaving one year behind to grow one year older.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Avery Claire {the party}

We had a princess party today! This little girl has been so excited about her birthday this year. She's asked every day "Is it my birfday daday?"


Avery Claire had such a fun time at her party. We are so thankful for family and friends that drove hours {or minutes} just to come to her birthday party. She's a very loved little girl and very lucky to have such sweet family and friends to spoil her on her special day weekend!

Some "Bunny" is Silly

Today was Avery Claire's Easter party/egg hunt at school. She was so excited about hunting eggs! And getting chocolate, because all holidays involve chocolate, right?!
 

She was just as excited that Nana and Papa were picking her up early from school today. We picked up cake and cupcakes tonight, bought a few more party supplies, and we're getting ready for a princess party tomorrow!!
