Spring Game

Last night, we went to the Falcons spring game.
Can you believe how grown-y she looks? She was such a big girl, even when it rained and we had to hunker down under the umbrella.
We're glad Daddy is going to be home before 7-7:30 next week!

Pizza, Pizza

I'm not a big fan of a lot of sauce on my pizza, so I love to buy crusts and make them myself at home. I usually buy the Boboli crusts that are already ready. When Walmart was out of them forever and I looked at Publix and they were out too, I asked a Publix worker about them. He told me I should try their pizza dough - located in the bakery section in a small refrigerator. "It's so easy," he said. I told him he didn't know me. Cooking and easy don't go together in my kitchen. I agreed to try one, and, y'all, they are awesome. And much cheaper!  Even better - they are EASY (if you don't care about how your pizza LOOKS)!

Avery Claire helped me make her pizza the other night. She was so proud of herself!

Silly girl!

Shower

You might have thought this post was going to be about all of the rain it seems we have had lately. Nope (although I am tired of cold and rain!). Guess who begs to take a shower every night?!
You guessed it! The girl who had to be begged to wash her hair in the bathtub only a few days ago.
Avery Claire randomly asked to take a shower in her Daddy's shower one night. I told her I didn't think she would do it. She likes a challenge, so she jumped right in and took a shower like she'd done it 100 times before. And now I have to beg her to take a bath so we don't have to wash her hair! Guess we need a shower cap!

During her first year and a half, she would stick her head under the faucet and get her hair rinsed without a word. Then, like a switch was flipped, it terrified her. She has gotten better, but still hates for her face to get wet. She gets a little braver with every shower. Night before last, she squeezed her eyes shut and stuck her face under the water! She still panics a little at holding her head back and getting her face wet, but we'll get there.

Weekend Wedding

Last weekend, we went to Clay Co for Josh and DeAnna's wedding. Avery Claire was so excited about going to a wedding. We talked a lot last week about how the only people that could talk during a wedding were the two people getting married and the preacher.
She did so good during the wedding. She did have to tee tee during the slide show at the end, but she managed to make it until the bride and groom were on their way out of the church before she HAD to go!
She played hard all afternoon and all night. She finally slowed down enough to fall asleep way too late. Apparently past these other two's bedtime, too!

She didn't stay up near as late Sunday night! She was out before bedtime.

*This is my first attempt to post from the iPad. If it looks crazy, excuse it, please. I think I can get more blogging done if I can figure this out!*
