We're ready for Thanksgiving break!! We love having days to spend at home! We were off Thursday for Veteran's Day (although I never got around to doing a Veteran's Day post). And we've had such a fun, lazy Saturday at home today! We love spending days together and really have so much fun just laying in the floor, playing and reading.
Avery Claire hadn't exactly got the hang of her sippy cup until Wednesday night. Just like a light switch turned on, she got it...
Thursday, Avery Claire and I ran to Florence to the fabric store because Mrs. Goodwin is making a couple of cute dresses for Avery Claire and we needed fabric. Miss Priss did not, would not fall asleep in the car on the way home for her late afternoon nap, so she didn't get her nap at all.

It was back to daycare Friday. Avery Claire got in a little playing time before we left. (Please note Handy Manny on T.V. This is what we watch every morning before we leave.)
Since it wasn't too too cold, we went to the game last night. Avery Claire looked cute (of course) all bundled up. I didn't take my camera to the game, but here she is after the game at home. She was so warm and cozy she even closed her eyes and slept during the game! And it was sooo loud! The game was a nail biter, to say the least. The Golden Tigers beat Athens (while Philip Rivers watched from the sidelines! His little brother is Athens' quarterback). Russellville moves on to the 3rd round of the playoffs, which will be a tough game against Hartselle!
Today, Avery Claire tried strawberry yogurt for the first time. Mmmmmmm, good!!! She loved it!!

We have played and talked and jabbered and napped and played some more. Guess who figured out how to crawl for a couple of seconds at a time tonight? You should have heard the cheers in the Davis house! She definitely has to practice a lot more, but she got her hands and legs coordinated enough tonight to move forward a little bit, a couple of different times. After she did it the first time, she looked at us and said, "bye-bye." We laughed so hard...guess she's outta here once she really gets this crawling thing down!

We are so thankful for the HAPPY Davis family! Avery Claire, you look like a beauiful doll and you are growing up so fast! You have had a busy week! Learning to do so many new things! Last night when talking with your mommy, I could hear you saying DaDa over and over! You are so precious! I love you, Nana
