4th of July

We didn't do much for the 4th except unpack and rest from our vacation! We grilled tonight and then played outside until after dark.

 

Avery Claire got a quick bath and we headed to see fireworks over the bridge. We missed most of them and caught the tail end, but what we saw was awesome! When we got home, our little neighbor Jackson put on a fireworks show for Avery Claire. She thought it was just as great as the big ones we saw.

Avery Claire slept with me on our trip, and we were so worried she would have a hard time {again, like every other time she is away from her bed} adjusting to being back at home. But she went to bed like a big girl tonight. No fuss, no tears. We were so shocked proud!!
