We got to the hospital this morning around 8:00. We took a quick "last picture of our family of 3" before Dusty dropped me and Avery Claire off at the door to go park.
I will have to post Bennett's birth story later, but let's just say his arrival was fast and furious. He arrived at 10:10 am, weighing 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 21 inches long. These were big sister's exact measurements...how cool is that?
Dusty and I got to spend over an hour with him. We did skin to skin, Avery Claire got to come in and meet him, and he nursed like he was starving. It was all so different than with Avery Claire - I got to see her for about 2 minutes, then Dusty went with them to take her to the NICU for oxygen. We didn't get to hold her again for hours.
We don't look at all rattled, do we? It's amazing how finally seeing that sweet little face can take away all of the craziness of the morning.

We are so thankful for heathy baby and mommy! Bennett is so precious! Brooke, you did great and look amazing! We are so very blessed with a beautiful family! Papa and I are filled with so much joy! We love our sweet grands! They are such sweet blessings! We love you all, Mom
