Avery Claire and Cohen got to spend some time together Friday night. She thought she had a big baby to play with. And she made him a little nervous...until he got used to her. Then he warmed up and joined right in her rowdiness!
We got up Saturday morning and headed to an Easter egg hunt at someone's house that Aunt Sarah goes to church with {I can't make that sentence sound right.}
Mattie and Abby went with us. We had so much fun. I hate that our girls live so far apart and can't play together more often. They had a ball together, which made my heart so happy.
This is the only picture I got of the bounce house. However, I wish I'd had a video of the few seconds when the breaker flipped and the house started collapsing around Mattie and Avery Claire. As long as I live, I will not be able to think about it without giggling out loud. We couldn't even rescue them for laughing so hard.
There was so much singing going on in this car. I wish we'd recorded some of it!
We headed to Mickey D's for lunch and ice cream and these girls got even sillier!
So glad they got to spend the day together!! We did manage to do some Easter egg dyeing Saturday night. By the way, baking eggs = just the same as boiling them and they don't crack! Thanks, Sarah!! Glad that one worked out or you would've never lived it down!
The bunny stopped by Sunday.
After church, we made the rounds for lunch and more egg hunting.
And some pinata fun!
And after we got home and unpacked, Avery Claire went to the "pwetend" beach.
