T.G.I.F.

Dusty just arrived home from a coaching clinic in T-town where he watched the Tide practice
in the company of the one and only Joe Montana (the older version). Joe's son was on a recruiting visit.

Meanwhile, I've had a date with this

and the Twilight movie.
(I know it sounds weird, but they were really good books. I'm not sure about the movie, though.)

Last weekend, Dusty and a couple of coaching friends went to Bristol Motor Speedway to see the Nascar race. Dusty was hoping for a Gordon win, but he just didn't pull it off.
Brooke, Kathy, and Cathy headed to the big city of Nashville to visit with Steph. We did exactly as Steph said we would - we ate and shopped and shopped and ate (and we had some great quality time)!

A Glimpse of 2009...

Happy New Year!

Dusty and Emma
Warm January afternoon walk. Win was very tired, not only because of the walk, but because he gets into little "fights" with the neighbor's dog, Watson, every time they walk by. We're not making excuses for our child (who would never do anything wrong!), but Watson really did start it!! Watson's dad finally started tying him up for Win to walk by!

Football Banquet self-pic...
DOne of the football players' uncles has a box at the Titan's stadium and Dusty and a few other coaches got invited to attend what turned out to be the last Titan's playoff game. They went to this man's "castle" in Brentwood, then walked through a VIP door into the stadium to sit in the box, a couple boxes away from Brooks & Dunn.
Dusty came home and told me it was the best day of his life!! Then, after he thought a second, he said, "after our wedding day, of course!"

Me and my fellow "blog stalkers" from school - We'd been following a blog about a baby girl born with lung problems and bought 'Pray for Harper' shirts to raise money for the family.
Valentine's Day in Nashville

Here's the king of our castle!

2009

Here's my class (on scarf day) with Tyrome "Hollywood" Brown from the Harlem Globetrotters. He was very inspirational and entertaining!

Dusty and I went to TJMaxx and he found a model car to build out of Legos. So, we spent one cold, snowy weekend building the car.

Here's the finished product! This is our 2nd grade Destination: America performance. The theme was music genres from the 50's (hence the sunglasses for rock-n-roll). This week has been my spring break. I met Abby for lunch one day.

Spring is in the air!!

The flowers are blooming...

Dusty's busy cutting grass...
Win is barking at Dusty cutting the grass.
Here is my view from the front porch. I promise I've been productive-I'm just enjoying a few minutes of relaxation!
Here's what you'd find inside-proof I haven't sat around doing absolutely nothing.
