Since we didn't have a summer project this year, Dusty decided this was the summer we should stain our back deck. So, we spent a couple of afternoons this week staining...and our deck looks MUCH improved!!
My permanent perch (other than staining) has been in the middle of the Cricut machine (thank you, Kate!!), the little laminator, and lots of lamination to cut out!
We went to eat dinner with the Lawrence's one night (thanks, Tia!), and here Dusty and I are with Emma in her playhouse.
It was a little cramped, but who can say no to "do you wanna come in my house?" Not us!!!
We went to Atlanta last Friday night to see the Red Sox vs. the Braves.
We were, of course, pulling for the Red Sox... ...except that small part of me that just couldn't pull against Chipper!
We saw Josh Beckett and Hideki Okajima pitch.
Ortiz (Big Papi) homered in the 5th...
And what would a Braves game be if Bobby Cox didn't storm the umpires?!
Matt, this one's for you.
Red Sox won, 4-1
For D's birthday, I gave him a set of MegaBloks that I thought would take him all summer to put together. Nope...it took him about two weeks to put the 2100 pieces together to make these:
For our anniversary, I gave Dusty this wooden Bama sign (the traditional 4th anniversary gift should be made of wood) that we saw a couple of months ago in T-town. Every night when we lay down, Dusty says (like a disappointed little boy), "Maybe we'll get my sign hung up tomorrow." So, this morning, we finally got it on the wall.
