Christmas Day

Santa finally made it last night.

Only Christmas magic could've gotten that trampoline inside. ;-)

This was one excited girl.

She literally jumped for hours today.

We convinced her to sit and rest for a few minutes, but it didn't last long.

Papa and Nana and Grandma and Mike came to check out Avery Claire's Santa loot. I'd love to tell you I cooked them a big Christmas dinner. But we all went to Ryan's instead. And in case you think we might be have been the only ones there, you'd be wrong. It was packed.

Merry Christmas

Christmas Eve

We came back to our house today so that Santa could come see Avery Claire here. We had a few cookies in the fridge to fix for the big guy.
Dusty and I have been married for almost 9 years and haven't even spent Christmas Eve in our own house. We were excited to be home for Christmas this year.

Avery Claire thought Santa would appreciate a Mt. Dew much more than a glass of milk.

She was so excited, especially after we showed her a picture of Santa flying over the bridge near our house. She tried so hard to get to sleep fast!

Christmas Gatherings Continued...

We had Christmas at the lodge tonight. There are kids everywhere.

After we'd been there awhile and I thought to tell Avery Claire not to climb on the bunk beds, I was informed she's been climbing up on top like a monkey already.

I had to put all of these pictures so you could see the additional people in each one.

I was in the family before Ashley and Madi were born. It makes me feel so old to see how grown up they are now.

And again with the stuffed animals. Avery Claire wants to see them and touch them, but she is so scared they might really be real.

Steph thought she might convince her to get close.

Two cutie pies. These two are so much alike. It takes them a bit to warm up, but once they do....
