Today, Avery Claire is one week old! This has been the fastest week of our lives. We are soaking up every second with this sweet baby girl! She couldn't be more perfect and we already can't imagine our lives without her!
Avery Claire, at one week old, you are:
- nursing every 2.5-3 hours
- taking a bottle with Daddy before you go to bed at night
- sleeping in the pac-n-play in Mommy and Daddy's room
- sitting in the sunshine as much as possible to make sure that jaundice is gone!
- looking around and taking in your new world
- love to sit in your bouncer
- are a great rider!
- loving that green paci the nurse gave you at the hospital (Mama has given up on the cute pacis she bought you. Nana has bought you three different kinds of pacis at WalMart, but you still love that green one!)
- THE LIGHT OF OUR LIVES!!
Mommy and Daddy truly didn't know how much they could love you! We just sit and stare at you and wonder what we ever did to deserve something as wonderful as you!
We went on a walk today! You slept while we walked and stared at you!

I mean I know I am partial and all, but this baby girl is the MOST BEAUTIFUL, PRECIOUS baby I have ever seen! Avery Claire, you are so loved and special to me already. I can't wait to love you and spoil you for many years, no matter what your Daddy says! :) I love watching your parents with you. They love you so much and take such great care of you. You are so lucky and we are so lucky to have you. Thank you God for Avery Claire!!
