Avery Claire, at two weeks old, you are:
- weighing in at 8 pounds, 2 ounces
- nursing about every 3 hours (except when you decide you need a little snack in between...or when you take a 4 hour nap!)
- taking a bottle with Daddy before you go to bed at night - last night, 3 ounces did not fill you up!
- sleeping in the pac-n-play in Mommy and Daddy's room
- looking around and taking in your world - you stay awake more than the parenting books tell us you're supposed to! You're too afraid you're going to miss something! When Mommy reads to you, you just look at her and the book. It's too precious!
- taking great naps in your crib
- are a great rider! We know how to get you to sleep in an emergency.
- finally liking the cute pink and purple pacis Mommy bought you

Daddy and Mommy could stare at you all day long - we do that for a pretty much all of the time! We honestly can't believe we made something as perfect as you!

I was so glad to finally get to come home from the hospital. And to see pics of this beautiful girl made it that much better. I hope all is well! I'll talk to you soon.
