Happy 7 Weeks

Avery Claire, at 7 weeks you are:

- weighing 11.4 pounds

- were dedicated at church this past Sunday, on Mother's Day. You were an angel. Mommy and Daddy were a little worried because the end of the church service was almost lunch time for you...but you made it all the way to Florence after church before you even woke up! I don't know why we worry!

- smiling at your Mommy and Daddy all of the time. Our hearts melt every time...and we try to capture every smile on camera!

- are strictly a formula baby. Similac Alimentum has been our lifesaver! No more screaming from gas pains during feedings...and you are so much more relaxed and happy!

- starting to love your paci, much to your Daddy's dismay! Every time it falls out, he says "See, she doesn't like that paci!" And then you squeal until you get it back...:)

- usually waking up once during the night, around 3 or 4 a.m.

- on the road to sleeping in your crib...you did that Monday night...Mommy slept on the floor beside you, but we're making progress!

- still loving your playmat

- liking it when we read to you! We ordered several new board books and we read them every day. Nana even got you a book that we put your picture inside of!

- LOVING the ceiling fans in our house!! In every room, you stare at the fans...and they're aren't moving yet. We think you'll really like them this summer when we turn them on sometimes!

- staying awake more during the day. We just sit with you and talk. T.V. just isn't as interesting as you!

- loving to sit outside. You love to look around!

- really strong! I think we'll turn you around in the Baby Bjorn soon so you can see what's happening in front of us!

- not loving the headbands so much sometimes! (See picture below) Mommy tries to explain to you that girls must wear bows...and you're too cute not to wear them! And we have too many not to wear them!!

- are such a sweet, happy little baby girl!! We fall more in love with you every day! We are so glad God chose us to be your Mommy and Daddy!
