Our Home

We have officially moved out of our home. It wasn't our first home as a married couple, but it is the first home we owned. It is the home we've lived in longest. It is the house we brought our baby girl home to. It is the home where we experienced the first year of parenthood, together. So, this week has been bittersweet. We are sad to leave our home behind because of the memories we've made here. But we have faith that God has big things in store for us. We know that we take our memories with us wherever we go. We know that we can one day drive Avery Claire by our home and tell her about how she lived her first 15 and a half months here. When we moved the last few things out of our home and left our keys on the counter, we know it became a house {and someone else's home}.

You're right . . . home is where the heart is! I have learned that since we have moved to Meridian for a year on this job. We are about to sell our house in Riverside . . . it was where we lived when we had all the boys, so we have so many great memories from that home. I will miss it, but I'm so glad our family has been able to stay together. Still praying for you guys and can't wait to see God's plans for you unfold!

What a bittersweet moment. As much as I can't wait to get out of our house and move into a new one, I know it will be sad to move away from the house we've aclled home and made so many first memories in. Isn't it strange how attached we get to things like that?
Praying for an easy transition!
