4th of July Weekend

We went to Clay County for the weekend of the 4th. We spent lots of time visiting family and friends.
Daddy and I took Avery Claire to the most peaceful place on earth to see her PaPaw's resting place.

Friday, Nana took over so Mommy and Daddy could sleep until 9 a.m.!! Brandi (aka "Aunt B") came by for a visit. Then we had to go to Oxford to buy Daddy some shirts because he thought Mommy packed them and Mommy thought he did! It's hard work packing for three - and Win! Avery Claire's toes took a quick dip in the pool! Friday night, we all went to Pizza Shack and ate dinner!

We did a lot of hanging out, relaxing, and eating! I wasn't very good at getting pictures with everyone! I really need to try to do better, I know! I got a lot of pictures for this post from Nana's camera! She was a better picture taker than me this weekend!
Saturday, we spent some time out by the pool. The water was a little too cool for Avery Claire to swim, so we just watched the boys play football in the pool.

Nana, Avery Claire and I took a trip to the mall and Target Saturday afternoon. Look at this little girl relaxing during a diaper change!

Saturday night, Mema cooked a great meal for everyone.

Sunday, we went to church. Then, we went to Mema's for lunch and some time outside. Brother Win had to be barracaded in because he wanted to "rescue" the kids swimming in the pool. Avery Claire spent some time relaxing with MaMaw and Sheila in the shade by the pool.

We went to the lake Sunday afternoon. Avery Claire took a good nap swinging on the dock.

Monday, we spent some time with Mema and Aunt Steph. Then we went to visit with Poppa on his birthday. Rob and Joyce came by for a visit before we left for home!

This little girl was quite a fussy one this weekend. We hope it was because her routine was off, and we think her reflux has really gotten worse. We have an appointment with our pediatrician in the morning to get that checked out! Here's proof that she was relieved to be at her house!

Avery Claire, I miss you!!, loved having you with us in Clay County for your 1st 4th of July. The pictures of you and your daddy at the cemetary are so precious. Your PaPaw would have spoiled you rotten!!! I hope over the years we can let you know what a great man he was and how much he would have loved it when you came to Delta. He would not obey any of your daddy's rules. Happy 15 weeks, WE LOVE YOU!!! Mema

This is Matt. I'm pretty certain that in the picture of me and AC that there was really no paint on my neck or Cathy's couch so I'm not sure what that is?
