Another Busy Weekend

Thursday, Nana came to Russellville to spend a little time with Avery Claire so Daddy could get ready to take comps - and so Mommy could help him study! Daddy took his comps Friday morning - WoooHooo! We can see the light at the end of the tunnel - there are less than two weeks left of summer classes!
Friday night, Avery Claire stayed with Nana while Mommy and Daddy had a date night!

We both commented on how we felt lost without our little girl! We went to eat and planned to go to a movie. We discussed whether or not to just go home after we ate - we missed our little girl! We did try to go to a movie, but everything was sold out....we weren't too disappointed that we had to head home early!

Saturday morning, Avery Claire and Mommy headed to Clay County with Nana to go to our cousin, Amber's, wedding. We made a stop to eat lunch and run in the mall. Avery Claire got to face forward in her stroller - she loved being turned around so she could see where she was going!

We spent the rest of our time in Clay County visiting...

(Mallie would not pose with Avery Claire, but I was able to get her to stand still for a shot!)

and swimming! This little girl loved the pool. She just kicked and kicked.

We headed home Monday and took a little detour to meet Mattie! Mommy's best friend (from the time we were babies ourselves) had a baby almost 3 weeks ago. Avery Claire likes one day being exactly 3 months older than Mattie.

And guess who we missed soooooo much this weekend? Daddy said the house was too quiet without us!

This little girl has spent a lot of time rolling onto her side lately. She decided today she really liked this position. She can "eat" her hand and watch t.v. at the same time!

I'm glad you and Dusty were able to have a "date night". Ben and I used to go out and talk about Eli the whole time . . . isn't it funny how kids change things? Your little girl is just so beautiful! She is growing so quickly through your posts! I love keeping up with your blog. You guys are great parents!
