Avery Claire, you are 4 months old today!!
At 4 months, you:
-love to lay on the floor on your mat and play!
-are drinking 4 ounces every 3 hours and eating cereal/baby food twice a day. So far, you've tried apples, peas, and peaches. I think you like peas the best!

-do NOT like to burp! You have started crying and squealing when it's time to burp halfway through your bottle.
-like to touch your paci when you're going to sleep
- are letting Mommy rock you to sleep most of the time. Don't worry, we still bounce, but you like for Mommy to sit down and pat your back while she rocks you.
-love your new pacifiers. So long, cute purple and pink pacis!! Hello, Mam pacis!
-like to try to hold your bottle, and do pretty good at it most of the time.
-LOVE your Daddy!! You will smile for him anytime, anywhere! You love to give Daddy kisses!
-love Mommy bunches, too! You've started to notice when someone besides Mommy is holding you. You seem to need Mommy to get to sleep when you're really sleepy. You smile for Mommy lots and love to give her kisses, too!
-like to give Baby kisses, too.
-still love your bath! You splash and play and love to watch your feet!

-anything in your hands goes straight to your mouth! If you can't find anything, your hands will do. You are a drooler!!! Could teeth be in your near future?!
-are a scooter!! Mommy puts you in the center of your blanket and in just a minute, she finds you like this:
-We put you in the middle of your crib at night, and this is how we find you in the mornings! You always sleep with your hands thrown above your head and will not sleep with cover! You hate it! You've been sleeping so good. On the nights you don't sleep all night, you get up around three, take about 3 ounces, and go right back to sleep.

As Mommy works on this post, you have rolled completely over on your belly in the crib and gotten your hands thrown above your head. (You looked so comfy, but Mommy couldn't stand to leave you on your belly and had to go flip you back over. Sorry, sweet girl!)
-love to sit up like a big girl so you can see what's going on around you!
-love your swing. Every morning, you drink your bottle and get in your swing to watch Dora or Toot & Puddle. You talk and squeal - it's one of Mommy's favorites times of the day - she loves to listen to you while she gets ready for the day. (Mommy or Daddy usually get a nice surprise in your diaper after your morning time in the swing!) You love to watch the lights on the swing, too.
-love to sit up like a big girl so you can see what's going on around you!

-got three shots at the doctor last week. Daddy went with us this time and you broke both our hearts when those shots hurt you! But you were tough and got over it quickly!

-are rolling from your back to your belly all of the time! You haven't quite mastered getting your hand out from under you every time, so we help you with that. You like to try to scoot on your belly. Boy, will we be in trouble when you start getting around!!

-since you've started rolling over, you've discovered how comfortable laying on your side is...you love to sleep this way now. And you think it's pretty comfy to watch t.v. this way, too!

Brooke: Avery Claire is so beautiful and she will be so smart with you and Dusty as parents. I don't know how you come up with the words to fit the pictures so well but I can't wait to check out your blog everyday. I think she could be the next Gerber baby. Can't wait to hold her again. Love Joyce
Happy 4 months! She is getting so big! I love the sleeping baby pics! She looked so sweet in them, especially the one sleeping on her side! I know you are going to miss spending all day with her, when you go back to work!
Happy 4 Months Sweet Angel! You are such a perfect and precious baby girl! We thank God for blessing us with you. We enjoyed visiting with the Davis family this weekend. We marvel at all the things your Mommy and Daddy have taught you each time we see you. You have amazing parents! Can't wait till we can see you again. We Love You so very much, Papa and Nana,

Is she really 4 months old already??!! She is so gorgeous! I know her smile just melts your heart everyday. I loved all the pictures and wanted to jump through the computer screen to give her a squeeze! I hope to meet her in person someday, but until then . . . keep those precious pics coming!
