New Teeth = Cranky Pants

Papa and Nana stayed with us last night. They waited on Avery Claire to get up this morning so they could have a little play time before they left to get ahead of the winter weather that's heading our way.

Avery Claire is working on tooth #7 and tooth #8 at the same time (on the top). This is her face one minute:

Poor baby! The tiniest bump to her mouth makes her cry....and she's entirely too sweet to hurt! We give her Tylenol, a wet rag, a cold teething toy....and I put Benadryl on her gums like "Aunt B" suggested. Do you have any other teething secrets?

She's really happy most of the time, but we'd like for these teeth to break through so our little girl can get some relief!!

Bless her heart! I never rubbed Benadryl on Emma's gums, but I always rubbed Tylenol on her gums. Also, we would buy those mini frozen waffles and give them to her straight from the freezer. It may sound crazy, but it relieved her pain...and it was okay if she ate them (which she usually did:).

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that last picture of her! That is hilarious! I can't tell if she is starting to cry or just making a silly face, but it is the cutest thing ever!!!!

We enjoyed spending time with you all this weekend! Avery Claire, you are the most perfect, beautiful baby! We have so much fun playing with you! It gets harder and harder to leave you when we come to visit! Nana is praying for jobs for your daddy & mommy (and all their coaching families) that are closer to Clay County! We love you all so much! Nana & Papa

We are still working on teeth #1, 2 and 3 at the same time. Oh how I wish the teeth would hurry up. Is it bad to pray to GOD every night for teeth?
Wishing for happier days and for teething pain to hurry up and go away for Avery Claire.
